The Lay family has been performing restoration since the 1940's including major events such as the Columbus Day storm of 1962, as well as the severe flooding of 1996. Our founder, Frank Lay, started repairing fire damaged buildings during World War II and that expertise and tradition has continued to grow over the past 60 plus years.
Lay's Construction was started in Portland, Oregon in 1967. The current owner, Jason Lay is the grandson of Frank Lay and represents the third generation of ownership for our company. Quality workmanship and a 'Good Name' have always been, and continue to be, the foundation of our company and a tribute to our success.
